I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities into my practice, recognizing the unique value each one offers.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Is a structured, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that helps people identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking, behavior, and emotional response.
DBT – Works on the idea that two seemingly opposite things can be true at the same time. A central dialectic in DBT is acceptance and change.
Person Centered Therapy – Is the Self-understanding and growth.
Somatic Therapy – Is a body-centered approach to psychotherapy that focuses on the connection between the mind and body, recognizing that emotional experiences are often stored physically as tension, pain, or movement patterns.
Internal Family Systems – Parts Work: Is a every person has multiple “parts” or subpersonalities (e.g., an inner critic, a protector, a wounded child). These parts are not pathological but serve specific functions, even when their actions are extreme or maladaptive.
Mindfulness – Is used to create awareness and acceptance of one’s thoughts and feelings.
